Zambia

I initially traveled to Zambia for a development assistance assignment but extended my stay, captivated by the country's peaceful history, pristine wilderness, and rich cultural tapestry of over 70 indigenous tribes.

My primary focus was delivering technical and material support to rural agricultural communities in the eastern provinces. To combat severe water scarcity, we developed innovative solutions to irrigate farmlands, replenish wells, and secure water for residents and livestock.

While photographing the community was limited, the resulting portraits reflect the deep trust and mutual respect built during the project.

Following the assignment, I concluded my journey at South Luangwa National Park. The park's dual ecosystems and abundant wildlife provided an extraordinary landscape for close-up wildlife photography.
